My PROUDEST moment...
Now that PRIDE is over for another year - yet again with near perfect weather - I can look back and say that it provided memories of the beginning of Summer 2007 that will last for years to come...a great dinner on Friday night with the BF at the Hair of the Dog, spending a glorious Saturday afternoon on Church Street and laughing the night away at Buddies in Bad Times' Homo Night in Canada.
That being said, I have to say that the memory that defined this year's festivities for me was the 27 minutes it took me to run the Pride and Remembrance Run 5K on Saturday morning. Seeing that many happy runners come together on such a beautiful June morning to support each other and their community really made me PROUD...to be a gay man, to be living in Toronto and to have the opportunity to do what I love to do in support of a really great cause.
